We are a research company based in Ithaca, NY, USA. We are developing statistical and computational methods to analyze genetic data. We use these models to investigate fundamental questions in population and quantitative genetics. Results of this research are directly applicable to crop and livestock improvement. We share our expertise and data analysis tools with organizations seeking to improve nutrition in the developing world by directing plant and animal breeding to suit local needs. We finance our program by offering consulting and data analysis services to commercial clients. We can help with every step of the process from design of experiments to manuscript preparation.
Because we are focused on dissemination of knowledge, we provide the source code for all our software for free under the BSD 3-clause license. Any papers published by us as corresponding authors are in open-access journals. We provide all our clients, both non-profit and commercial, with fully-documented source code of all software we generate as part of our data analysis efforts on their behalf.
